About Water Damage Restoration Specialists of San Antonio

A San Antonio restoration company built around five branches, documented drying standards, and the belief that you should be shown the readings behind every decision we make about your property.

Who we are

Water Damage Restoration Specialists of San Antonio is a full-service restoration contractor covering San Antonio and Bexar County. We handle water damage restoration, mold remediation and fire and smoke damage restoration — from the emergency call through mitigation and drying to full reconstruction.

We operate five branches: downtown on Soledad Street, and branches serving the north, south, east and west sides. That structure exists for one reason. San Antonio is a large, geographically varied city, and response time is the single biggest determinant of how much of a property survives a water loss. A crew forty minutes away is not a 24/7 service in any meaningful sense.

Under new ownership

This business operates under new ownership and a new name. We are transparent about that because you deserve to know who you are dealing with. The previous operation did not meet the standard its customers were entitled to, and rather than trade on a reputation we had not earned — good or bad — we started again: new name, new management, new standards, and public accountability from day one.

That means we are a new business with a short review history, and we would rather say so plainly than manufacture social proof. What we offer instead is a standing invitation: ask our technicians what qualifications they hold before they start, ask to see documentation, and hold us to a written scope and daily moisture readings you keep. Ask the same of every other contractor who quotes you.

Check us out before you hire us

We would rather you verified things yourself than took a website's word for them. When a technician arrives at your property, ask them who they work for, what qualifications they hold for the job in front of them, and to see documentation. Look at it properly. Do the same with every other contractor who quotes you.

Ask at the door

Ask what qualifications the person doing the work holds and ask to see documentation. Whether you ask is entirely at your discretion — but it is your property, and no reputable crew objects to the question.

Take your time

Nobody should be pressuring you into signing anything on your doorstep, least of all in the middle of an emergency. If someone rushes you past a credentials question, that is your answer.

Get it in writing

A written scope and price before work begins, every time. Compare it against other quotes using the criteria in our cost guide.

Ask for the readings

Ask whether you receive daily moisture readings and a final set at the end. We provide them. If a contractor cannot produce readings, they do not actually know whether your property is dry.

How we work

  • We give a written scope and price before starting. No open-ended work, no surprises on the invoice.
  • We dry to a documented number. You get the daily readings and the final set. If a contractor cannot produce readings, they do not know whether your property is dry.
  • We expect to be asked about credentials — and we would rather you asked us and every other company you speak to than took anybody's marketing at face value.
  • We tell you when the problem is smaller than you feared — or when what you actually need is a plumber, a roofer or a structural engineer rather than us.
  • We handle mitigation and reconstruction, so nothing gets lost in a handover between two contractors.

Where we work

All of San Antonio and Bexar County — 58 ZIP codes and more than 321 neighborhoods, from the historic districts of King William and Monte Vista to the new subdivisions of Alamo Ranch and the Hill Country edge at Leon Springs. See our service areas for local detail on your ZIP code.

Ask to see credentials — from us or anyone else

Before any technician starts work on your property, you are entitled to ask them who they are and what qualifications they hold, and to ask to see documentation. That applies to us and to every other contractor who knocks on your door. Ask at your own discretion, take your time, and do not feel awkward about it — a crew that is happy to be asked is the kind you want in your house. If anyone refuses or rushes you past the question, treat that as your answer.

Water damage doesn't wait. Neither do we.

Every hour water sits, it travels further into your structure. Our crews dispatch 24 hours a day across San Antonio and Bexar County.
